Not because it sounds exclusive, but because true craftsmanship reveals itself best in full leather soles. No fixed routine, no standard intervention. Every pair calls for its own approach.

SHOE REPAIR FOR MEN’S SHOES

During a total refurbishment, the complete leather soles are replaced from front to back, including the dovetail heels. Where necessary, the cork layer is restored so that the original comfort remains intact. The original Goodyear or Blake welt — or the Blake Rapid midsole — remains in place.

New leather soles are stitched through, the heel base is reconstructed, and the dovetail heel is fitted. The finishing follows in hand sanding, colouring and patinating, with attention to line and detail.

A total refurbishment does not stop at the leather sole and dovetail heel. Wear on the inside of the heel can be restored by placing a new calf leather lining. The elastic of monk strap buckles can be renewed when it has lost its tension.

Scuffs, stains, colour updates, intensive suede cleaning: Everything that no longer feels right is corrected. Until the whole once more feels worthy of being called a shoe — and ready for a new chapter.
