At The Royal Treatment atelier, in the heart of the Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam-Zuid, men’s shoes, women’s shoes and women’s boots — only with leather soles — are restored and repaired as they were once intended to be. With an eye for detail and respect for the original design.

Everything — well, almost everything — rushes along the digital highway these days. And yet the way I practise my craft cannot be digitised.

Questions by email or assessments based on photographs rarely give a complete picture. When I have your shoes or boots here in the atelier, in my hands, I can see what is truly needed and how much time it asks. Only then can I give a fitting answer to your questions.

Only when it feels right do we take the next step. You pay in advance. No surprises afterwards. No additional charges.
